Hi, I’m James DeGraw
I started Elevate Inspections because I love sharing my passion for how homes are built. My goal is to provide trusted guidance so that you can have confidence & peace of mind when making decisions about your home or property.
A broad real estate background makes me a fantastic home inspector.
I grew up around real estate in Athens, OH—assisting with the operation of my family’s apartment communities. I’ve always been passionate about with how buildings work and providing people with a great place to call home.
I graduated from Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business in 2014 with a distinction in real estate finance & entrepreneurship.
I have worked for several multifamily development & property management firms in Columbus with roles specializing in apartment operations, acquisitions, & renovation.
My wife & I have extensively remodeled our 1940 cape cod in UA, helping to enhance my knowledge of Columbus home construction & renovation.
At the heart of my experiences is a passion for how homes are built & sharing that love and expertise to help other people.
